Value-added chain
The TERRA 21 ENERGY technology produces water, which can be used for both drinking and industrial purposes. The customers will benefit from opportunities to create added value in downstream businesses such as salt works, agriculture, food processing, beverage industry and tourism. They will not only provide drinking water but also initiate local development and create jobs. This makes our desalination plant a means to prevent poverty migration caused by extreme water scarcity and drought.

RMO Water Treatment for Kenya,
Drinking water treatment using the RMO filter process, up to 20,000 liters per day. Self-sufficient water kiosk with its own power supply via solar operation. About 55 units in operation in Kenya.
2 pieces are operated by Terra 21 Energy (in schools).

The water kiosks are suitable for locations without electricity and for supplying smaller village communities without access to fresh water.
The water from existing wells can be treated to make drinking water.
In order to develop and execute upcoming projects we rely on the competence and experience of our project team as well as the trustful relationship to investors and local partners.
In project management we have highly experienced colleagues from different areas like wind energy, photovoltaic and real estate. We make contact with development banks such as kfw and funding for sustainable energy.
